From The Couch – Your Daily Dose of Crazy From the Lindsey Clancy Jurors

I was in a decent mood last night until I saw the clips of the Lindsey Clancy jurors start to circulate. These ladies (at least the three that spoke on camera) are exactly what we thought they were…”Karens.”

JM: The lady at the end actually said, “He had the hardest time getting off the fact that Lindsay viscously killed her children.” Uh, YEAH! These ladies are irate mad that they couldn’t let Lindsay Clancy off the hook. I have a question for them. When someone gets blackout drunk, gets behind the wheel of a car, and kills somebody, do they get off the hook? No, they do not. I see this as the same kind of thing. Even if Clancy’s medications caused her to do it, which is still arguable, in my opinion, that doesn’t mean she should get off the hook. I don’t understand the thought process that supports her and has sympathy for her at all.

JM: It would have driven me crazy to sit in that jury room and listen to these ladies.

JM: I agree with Clay. Kudos to the one juror who stuck to his guns and didn’t let her walk. He is a hero, in my opinion.

JM: Phillips died of cardiac arrest after suffering a heat stroke in 95 degree heat just before halftime of Iowa’s game on Saturday. Such a sad story. It appears that the students were wearing their summer, or “hot weather,” uniforms of shorts and t-shirts and provided numerous water breaks, so the band probably has little to no liability for this incident. That doesn’t make it any less tragic.

JM: Yes, that is correct. One of the Chiefs Super Bowl parade shooters was released after time served and got arrested again on gun and stolen vehicle charges. He was still on probation. Doesn’t surprise me at all. Kansas City needs to do a better job of locking up and punishing criminals.

JM: The video is below…

JM: Americans better start paying attention to these people. They’re ready to go to war.

JM: The University of Tennessee should not allow the students to have an organized gathering like this one, celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk. Shame on them.

JM: A throwback to a time when we were kids when there was joy in getting a trucker to honk his horn at you. I enjoyed every second of this video.

JM: Hard to believe it is almost the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. I watched a show last night on National Geographic channel called “9/11: Reunited,” which reunited those who were injured and in grave risk of dying on 9/11 with their rescuers 25 years later. It’s a tearjerker, but I highly recommend it.
