We have all heard stories of good old-fashioned fraternity pranks and hazing of pledges, but forcing your pledges to participate in a cocaine trafficking ring might be a new low. It happened at Penn State University….
JM: There were two fraternities involved in the ring, Delta Upsilon and Sigma Chi. According to prosecutors, the alleged cocaine trafficking operation was active in 2023 and 2024. Authorities allege that two men, Agostino Abbatiello and Thomas Robinson, served as major suppliers, sourcing cocaine from Philadelphia and New York. They sold the cocaine to mostly college students.
Wow. First the Jerry Sandusky stuff and now this. I think I’ll keep my distance from that place.
JM: Luckily, it appears that this child will be fine, but I am not surprised that this happened. There are kids all over my neighborhood and the surrounding areas zipping around on their electric scooters. There is a roundabout a couple of blocks from me, and the kids zip through there, ignoring every traffic law. I’ve seen kids almost get hit multiple times. You really have to keep your head on a swivel so you don’t accidentally hit someone.
JM: 81 dogs in one house? The house was discovered because the owner was walking a couple of the dogs and they got into a fight and the police were called. The owner was arrested on multiple warrants. Along with police, KCK Animal Services responded to assist the animals. About half of the dogs were transferred to outreach partners; the other half are still with KCK Animal Services. Unreal.
JM: Are you buying that the organization didn’t direct security to approach the women? I’m not buying it for a second.
JM: This guy tried to smuggle 200 lizards into Japan in his suitcase. What do you get when you combine 81 dogs and 100 lizards? A couple of very strange news stories, that’s what.
JM: ABC News has a liberal bias? No sh*t, Sherlock. In other news, water is wet and the sky is blue. Moran thinks he is breaking some scoop here. Most of us have known this for a very long time.
JM: Speaking of biased news people, CNN is still at it. I am not sure why they let representatives of CNN in the White House press pool. I guess they would take a lot of grief if they didn’t. CNN issued a statement in response to Trump’s reaction and comments…
JM: That is pretty ballsy coming from CNN. Their “reporters” act like rabid wolves asking questions of any Republican and act like a bunch of sycophants in front of Democrats. For some reason, they don’t even realize or care that they act this way. They should never be respected as long as this continues to happen. Treat both sides with respect and you can avoid stuff like this, but they never will.
JM: I have been telling people this same thing for a long time. Dave Thomas is definitely spinning in his grave about how far Wendy’s service and quality has fallen. I hope they can turn things around, but I am not holding my breath.
JM: I say finders keepers here. I sure hope these guys get some kind of finders fee for their honesty in turning in the gold. They deserve that.
