Two University of Mississippi students were found dead at separate locations, with packaged kratom sold at a nearby retail store found at both scenes. If you’re like me, your first question is “what the heck is ‘kratom?'” According to what I found on the Mayo Clinic website, Kratom is an herbal extract from the leaves of Mitragyna speciosa, a tropical tree native to Southeast Asia. It acts as a stimulant in small amounts and a sedative in large amounts. They advise against using it. Up until now, I don’t think anyone thought it was deadly. Heck, I’ve never heard of it before today.
JM: Lafayette County Metro Narcotics issued a statement telling students to avoid it at all costs….
JM: There isn’t much more information about this so far, but rumors are that the drug may have been laced with something. I suppose we will eventually find out, but this is a sad, sad story.
JM: Another way to say it is that 57% of Democrats would like to see President Trump assassinated. Yikes. I have nothing in common with someone who thinks like this.
JM: At least the video is kind of humorous. Kind of.

JM: Rob Schneider was a Roberty Kennedy Jr. fan and once Kennedy sided with Trump, he became a Trump fan. I follow Schneider on X and he is just a common sense guy. To be blackballed because of that is pretty ridiculous, but at least his buddy Adam Sandler stuck by him.
JM: At least he wasn’t transporting beer.
