From The Couch – No Answers In Death Of William Jewell’s MichahJo Barnett

William Jewell running back MicahJo Barnett died Saturday during a football game against Fort Lewis College shortly after scoring a touchdown. He apparently suffered a seizure and was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The game was suspended and eventually cancelled.

JM: It sure seems like there are a lot of tragedies happening on the football and soccer fields lately. A high school player in western Kansas died just a few weeks ago after collapsing during practice.

JM: Since details are sketchy in both cases, my first question is “did both of these young men receive the Covid vaccine and boosters? We will probably never know, but we should be able to find out. I don’t have the time to do the research, but it sure seems like tragic deaths like these are happening to young people since they were forced to take an experimental shot.

What a couple of sad stories. This is the only comment from the college:

“The College has no details as to the nature/cause [of the medical emergency],” the spokesperson said.

I hope we find something out eventually.

JM: It seems like human beings can take a pill for anything nowadays. A pill mimicking an intense workout seems like a very bad idea.

JM: I can’t relate to Michelle Obama here, or pretty much on anything. I missed my kids when they left the house and still miss seeing them every day. She is glad hers are gone. I wonder if her kids feel the same way about her.

JM: This is a great letter, but he could have shortened it to say

“Dear Senator Warren,

You are a moron.

Sincerely, Scott Bessent”

One of the smartest people in the country writing a letter to one of the dumbest is pretty good though.

JM: Ron DeSantis was initially posting about the owner of Buc-ees saying he is giving up on trying to operate in blue states…

JM: I am sure Buc-ees will survive without people like Ethan Culver shopping there. It is one of the biggest, and most successful, gas station chains in the United States. Everyone I know that has ever visited one raves about it. But stay angry, bro. For no reason whatsoever.

JM: Rush Limbaugh used to call them the “drive-by” media because of things like this. The media gets things wrong all of the time because they want to be first instead of being accurate. The “drive-by” media also exists in the internet world. Probably more so.

JM: This was quite a sight to see. I wonder how long that other ball was stuck in there?

JM: The front wheels still kept going and every one of the kids watched it go around without them. This could have ended badly. Guess it’s “carnival ride breakdown” time of the year.
