Only positive stories today. Positive stories that highlight the greatness of America. This is a little soccer-heavy, but even if you don’t like soccer, you’ve gotta love the stories around it.
JM: Imagine selling your pool table on Facebook Marketplace, and the buyer is….the England national soccer team. It is not clear how their hotel neglected to find them a pool table, but the team improvised and found someone locally who was selling one. Very cool.
JM: This was a great moment yesterday that the mainstream news media probably didn’t show you. I looked up James Capers. Here is what I found:
“Major Capers is widely recognized in the military community as the father of modern Marine Reconnaissance. He led Team Broadminded in Vietnam, which conducted high-risk missions such as attempting to free American POWs and securing a downed airplane rumored to be carrying a nuclear weapon.”
So he is the real-life Rambo? Sure seems like it. What a badass.
JM: America is going soccer crazy. They are showing highlights during baseball games now. The United States beat Australia 2-0 today and earned a spot in the final 32.
JM: These fans were HYPED!
JM: Seattle fans represented today. If listening to an entire stadium since the national anthem doesn’t give you goosebumps, then check your pulse.
U-S-A! U-S-A! Patriotism is back, baby!
