The state of Tennessee botched the execution of Christa Pike last night, giving her two doses of a lethal drug that failed to kill her. She is now in a hospital receiving “lifesaving medical care.”
You can’t make this stuff up.

JM: We can’t get anything right anymore. Not only was the execution completely botched, but they rushed her to a hospital to keep her alive? On top of that, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee cancelled all remaining executions until after the new year. So, Pike gets to live off the taxpayer dime at least a few more months. And how much is that hospital bill going to be? What a debacle.
JM: The misinformation spread around social media about the Cornell rape is already pretty disturbing. It seems like the same people spreading the misinformation and lies are the same people that supported Lindsay Clancy. There is a lot more to this story that we will all learn over time. It is an unfortunate situation all around.

JM: I can see both sides of this. The company has every right to tell her what she can and cannot have in her email signature, just like she has every right to choose to work there or somewhere else. It may not be the right thing, but that’s how it is. I don’t see this lawsuit going anywhere.
JM: According to the story, an elderly person “lost control of their vehicle” and crashed into the store. Might be time for someone to take their keys from them for good.
JM: The headline says that Diddy, in prison, pays inmates to do his laundry, make his bed, clean the toilet before he uses it, and give him “Chinese-style massages.” Does that mean Diddy is getting happy endings from fellow prisoners?
JM: In this battle of whale vs. yacht, whale won.
