Climate change alarmists like Al Gore and Greta Thunberg are pretty annoying, and now “news media” organizations have gotten on the bandwagon. This time it was Rasmussen Reports that reported that “more than half of Americans say this summer is hotter than usual, and two-thirds suspect climate change is to blame.
Luckily, X user Chris Martz brought the facts to that argument….
JM: It looks to me like the weather is cooling, not warming. Chris brought some additional receipts…
JM: 80% of states set their all-time high temperature before 1955? Both Kansas and Missouri set their record high temperatures in 1936. Wonder if CNN will report this?
JM: Speaking of CNN, they reported the following regarding this latest incident of left-wing terrorism.
“A 43-year-old Army veteran — who authorities say was carrying an anti-ICE sign — is accused of setting a fire and throwing an incendiary device outside a New York City federal building as people flowed into office buildings nearby, injuring three people.
At approximately 8:30 a.m., Andrew Arrabaca poured gasoline onto the ground outside of an employee entrance and ignited it with a lighter and a “large firework in a canister,” officials said during a news conference Monday. He then pulled out an airsoft rifle — a device commonly used in sports and recreation that resembles a gun but fires less lethal projectiles rather than bullets — and fired five to seven pellets, James Barnacle, the assistant director in charge of the FBI New York Field Office, said.
Arrabaca “came armed with bad intentions,” equipped with “two axes, a hammer, a machete and three knives,” Barnacle said. He had a sign saying “ICE off our streets” affixed to a cart he was using to carry the weapons, and “yelled derogatory terms to ICE” as he was being arrested, officials said. The entire incident was captured on a New York Police Department camera, Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said.
The incident happened at Manhattan’s 26 Federal Plaza, a building that houses dozens of federal agencies and thousands of federal employees, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the FBI, authorities said.”
What is wrong with these people?
JM: More violence in Kansas City over the weekend. I’m sure MLK is proud.
JM: I don’t know if that’s AI-generated or if someone has way too much time on their hands to cleverly edit the video. Regardless, it’s pretty funny!
JM: Great testimony from Darryl Strawberry. I remember him always being in trouble with the law, but I am glad to see he turned his life around. I’ve got plenty of old baseball cards of him. I should check the value of them!
JM: Marvel finally released the trailer for Avengers Doomsday. I was underwhelmed with it, but maybe that’s because there was a lot of anticipation for its release. I am sure I will like the movie either way. What do you think?
