When I first heard the story that Eric Bieniemy’s wife was shot in their home last night, I figured it must have been Eric Bieniemy who did it. Then I remembered that Bieniemy was in St. Joseph, Missouri, for Kansas City Chiefs training camp. I got on my phone and looked it up, and news had already broken that his son was arrested for the shooting. You can read what is known so far by clicking the link below…
JM: A buddy of mine asked me how someone can shoot their own mother, and I replied, “I don’t know, ask the Reiners.” I am sure the whole story of what happened will be revealed soon.
JM: The only thing I thought when I heard that Bryan Kohberger is filing an appeal is “those poor families.” This guy just won’t go away. Here is his poorly written letter…
JM: I watched the sentencing hearing a little over a year ago, and the judge made it clear that Kohberger waived his right to any future appeals by declaring himself guilty. I am not sure that his petition will accomplish anything. I can’t see him getting a new trial, but I guess stranger things have happened. One of the families released a response….
JM: A very professional, heartfelt response. Kudos.
JM: I have noticed the “DSA” has become a “thing” in the last month or two. If you had to guess what the co-chair of the DSA looks like without ever seeing her, I bet you’re like me and would come close to guessing what she really looks like. The only thing missing is a nose ring and a tattoo or two. The scary thing is that these people are dead serious, and it appears their movement is gaining traction. If anything in their platform were ever implemented, the United States would be in big trouble.
JM: There aren’t any details about what exactly happened to this man and the circumstances surrounding it. Just that he jumped into the lake, briefly came to the surface, and went back down. They recovered his body three hours later. Yikes. Be careful out there!
JM: So, “PickleCon” is a thing now? It is amazing how popular PickleBall is becoming. Last year’s PickleCon drew 2,336 participants from more than 37 states. Have you played Pickleball? Maybe you’re good enough to compete in this tournament. I am pretty sure that I am not.
