Day 18! The picture above was my temperature this morning taken by the nice nurse at one of the KU Med Center locations. They take my temperature before they allow me access to go into the building and service the account. I’m kind of glad they do this since I don’t have a thermometer at home to check my temperature every day. It just lets me know my temperature is “normal” and I’m not getting sick. I just think it’s funny that they give me a sticker to wear around as well. Normally the nurse will put her initials on it as well, but she didn’t today.
It’s also the two week point of the No Shave Coronavirus “rally beard” that some buddies and I are doing. I’ve never let a beard or moustache grow on my face for more than a week and now it’s been two weeks. I am surprised that it hasn’t itched too bad since a lot of men complain about the itching. I think I’m gonna have to trim it up if I’m going two more weeks with this. We’ll see what happens. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the positive comments I’ve gotten about how it looks. Some ladies really like the beard look!
Another weekend with no bars and restaurants open and no sports to watch. I do have some plans with buddies and my kids are coming over on Easter to hang out and watch Mass online. That will probably be a little odd. Glad all three of them are coming and that I’ll get to see them.
