Soccer fans from the Netherlands took over downtown Kansas City today in anticipation of their team’s match at Arrowhead Stadium against Tunisia. The “Oranje Fanwalk” started at the FanFest at Liberty Memorial and ended at the Power and Light District. It looked like a few thousand people participated.
JM: Did all of these fans travel to Kansas City from the Netherlands to watch the match? Or are they people from the Netherlands that live in the United States, and they came to town for the match? Or are they random people going to the game that found some orange to wear who wanted to participate? Inquiring minds want to know.
JM: President Trump met with Senate Republicans yesterday on Capitol Hill and, according to Tommy Tuberville, gave an impassioned speech to them about the importance of passing the SAVE Act. The main proponent of the SAVE Act is to require U.S. Citizenship and an ID in order to vote. It is a common sense enough measure that over 80% of the country agrees that it should be passed. There is one problem, however. The U.S. Senate is incompetent. President Trump’s speech accomplished absolutely nothing. In fact, the Senate voted to go on vacation instead of working on getting it passed….
JM: I’ll tell you what. Nobody should vote for one incumbent Senator. Kick them all out and let’s get some fresh blood in there.
JM: Chesney is right to suggest staying out of politics is the correct thing to do, and what he says at the very end, that fans are there “as an escape for all of that stuff,” is one hundred percent correct. Of course, the leftie Bill Maher fans have been critical of him for saying it. But that’s not the only thing they’re mad about today….

JM: I would fully expect the President of the host country to attend the final World Cup match and to present the trophy at the end. Or at least to be on the field at the end. Democrats are losing their mind about this. I am so glad that I don’t get up every morning and decide to get angry about trivial things like this.
JM: I heard this clip today, and the “you would fail at the Price Is Right” comment made me laugh. Just another example of someone who consumes media sources that constantly lie to them.
JM: How does one lose a giraffe? Maybe Alan from The Hangover movies stole him….
