It’s day 31 of the Kansas City stay at home order. I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of social distancing, wearing masks and wearing gloves. I’m ready for this to be over. I find myself arguing with my inner self about staying positive during this time. It’s really hard to keep the negative thoughts out of your head, especially when viewing social media sites that are normally fun but have turned into negativity and finger pointing. I think people have been locked up for too long already and we all need and want this to end very soon.
One thing that may help is the NFL Draft tonight. Although it’s sure to be a much different format, it does bring a bit of normalcy to those of us that follow sports closely. Even though I’m a big sports fan, I usually don’t watch the NFL Draft. I find it uninteresting and boring for the most part. Regardless, I’ll be tuning in tonight to see how they’re going to accomplish this. It should be interesting for at least a little while.
